Pick-up from your hotel and head to Ba Dinh Square, the historic heart of Hanoi.  

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the revered leader’s body is preserved. Continue to explore Ba Dinh Square, the site where President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam's independence in 1945. Nearby, you'll visit the One Pillar Pagoda, famous for its unique lotus-shaped architecture, and the serene Ho Chi Minh House on Stilts, where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during his final years.  

Next, visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, commonly known as the Temple of Literature. Built in the 11th century, it was the site of Vietnam’s first university and is now a symbol of knowledge, wisdom, and learning. Stroll through the tranquil courtyards, pavilions, and ancient stone steles.

Instead of the cyclo tour, explore the historically significant Hoa Lo Prison, known as the "Hanoi Hilton". Originally built by the French colonialists to imprison Vietnamese revolutionaries, it later became infamous for holding American POWs during the Vietnam War. The museum offers a deep insight into the country's struggle for independence and the experiences of prisoners. After a day filled with history and culture, transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi.
